Langham Arts was originally formed as a company in 1987 to take the burden from the then church vestry of furthering the ever-expanding Christian arts ministry of All Souls, Langham Place in London’s West End and especially to extend the ministry of the now famous All Souls Orchestra.
Now a registered charity, the purpose remains the same – to support the work of All Souls Music ministry, specifically as a focus for fundraising. As a UK registered charity (1059611), the Trust requires a Board of Trustees who have been delegated by All Souls PCC to manage the requirements of charity governance. All respected in their fields and with a long-standing connection with All Souls Church or All Souls Orchestra. The Trustees are required, on behalf of the PCC, to manage the small staff team.
The resources of the Trust, generated through events, such as Prom Praise, recordings which arise from these, and other fundraising activities, are all channelled into All Souls Music ministry and outreach – notably projects such as Prom Praise for Schools and international outreach.
In order to support this substantial and varied ministry we appeal for donations and other funding. We have created the All Souls Orchestra Partnership to generate a community of those who wish to support and share awareness of the benefits of this music ministry through committing to regular giving.
