A Friendly Notice Regarding Children at All Souls Music Performances

We love to see children delighting in the joy of music and we truly value the presence of families at our performances. However, we are also aware that many of our performances may not be suitable for our littlest guests and would like to provide some guidance to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all attendees.

Babes in Arms

We understand that sometimes it’s challenging to find childcare and we want to accommodate families as much as we can. Babes in arms (infants under 1 year old and not walking) are welcome to attend our performances and do not require an additional ticket. Please feel free to bring your littlest ones to enjoy the music with you.

Toddlers and young children

If you do choose to bring your toddler or young child (children between 1-7 years old), please be aware that they would require a ticket (concession). However, we kindly request that you consider the nature of our performances. Most of our shows are fully booked, leaving very little room to move around. The performances can also be quite lengthy, approximately 50 minutes for each half, which can often be a bit challenging for young children to sit still and remain quiet.

Older children

Older children (7+) would also require their own ticket (concession). As each child is unique, we recommend considering the length and style of our performances and whether it’s suitable for your child’s age and attention span.

In general, please keep in mind that most All Souls Music performances may not be ideal for young children due to their duration and the limited space for movement. We do not have a childcare facility available on-site, so we encourage families to make arrangements where possible.

We look forward to sharing the joy of music with you and your loved ones.
