Do you know a young musician in your congregation or community who would love to grow in their faith and develop their musical gifts?
We’d love to invite them to be part of something truly special. This summer, the Langham Arts Youth Orchestra is gathering young musicians (aged 11+) from across the UK once again, for an unforgettable weekend of music, faith and community – right in the heart of London.
In a pressured season of life, from bustling cities to remote towns, there is little opportunity for young musicians to combine their passion for music and faith. With Psalm 145 as our inspiration, we aim to gather young musicians from across London and the UK, forming the Langham Arts Youth Orchestra—a community where faith and music meet for future generations.

What’s it all about?
From the evening of Friday 24 July to Saturday 25 July 2026, young musicians will join a vibrant orchestra exploring the Bible – using music to reflect on Biblical themes. With energetic rehearsals, guest artists and plenty of fun and fellowship, it’s an experience that will deepen their faith and develop their musical skills for God’s glory.
Who’s it for?
We welcome all orchestral instrumentalists (strings, wind, brass, percussion) for players Grade 5+ (or equivalent) and aged 11+.
Vision
- Spiritual & Musical Growth: investing in the spiritual and musical discipleship of young people, offering them a haven where they can connect, build friendships and inspire each other in their faith journey.
- Creating Pathways: nurturing the first steps on a musical faith journey, leading to potential involvement in the All Souls Orchestra and opening doors of opportunity through encouragement, teaching and connection.
- Unpacking Worship: raising future generations of Christian leaders, who understand the vital role that music plays in every sphere of life and are confident to use it to point others to Jesus locally, nationally and internationally.

Long-term Vision:
Our desire is for the Langham Arts Youth Orchestra to become a thriving community, discipling young musicians in faith and music as they consider where the Lord is calling them and, if they choose to, providing a clear pathway for them to transition into the All Souls Orchestra as they advance beyond their school years.
