All Souls Choir
The All Souls Choir is an SATB group comprising of members of All Souls Church who are amateur singers from many different backgrounds. Directed by Ollie Nicholson, the All Souls Choir meets weekly on Thursday evenings in the church and are committed to singing most Sundays.
As well as Sundays, there is an opportunity to stretch yourself through occasional concerts. The annual All Souls Choir Carol Concert at Christmas is one of the highlights for everyone as well as combining with the All Souls Orchestra and the wider Gathered Choir to perform at the Royal Albert Hall and other London venues for Prom Praise.
Alongside the All Souls Choir, there is a Gathered Choir that is formed from singers all over London and beyond. Coming from a variety of churches and denominations some travel far every year to perform at the Royal Albert Hall with the All Souls Orchestra, directed by Noel Tredinnick for the annual Prom Praise.
There is an opportunity to be part of the London Gathered Choir for anyone who is able to read a part and can get to rehearsals in W1. If you live further afield and would like to take part, we might be able to put you in touch with one of the regional groups, or perhaps if there is no group near you, you might like to recruit a group in your area.
In addition, from time to time, other singing opportunities come up (Jubilate Big Sing, Songs of Praise, etc). If you can’t make a regular commitment but would like to sing occasionally, get your name on the Gathered Choir list for news of these opportunities as they arise.
