In a recent staff team meeting, we reflected on the importance of Proverbs 29:18: “Where there is no vision, the people perish.” (KJV)
We are all too aware that, while we may make our own plans, it is the Lord who directs our steps (another wise proverb – 16:9). So we have spent a lot of time recently, seeking the Lord for the next steps for the ministry of All Souls Music.
During the Covid pandemic, we, like many organisations, had to call a temporary ‘halt’ to some of our activities. There were many requests for the All Souls Orchestra to serve locally, nationally and internationally but we simply didn’t have the capacity to see these to fruition.
While time spent in the wilderness is formative, we are glad to be emerging from this season and expectant for all that the Lord will do through this ministry. As such, we are thrilled to share a little more about the future of All Souls Music.
Pointing people to Jesus through the power of music remains at the very heart of our vision. We are about to enter an exciting new season, with great ambition to reach thousands more people – of all generations and across the world – with the good news of Christ.
Over the coming year, we want to enable individuals and Churches locally, nationally and internationally to use excellent music for fruitful evangelistic outreach.
We are looking forward to getting the All Souls Orchestra back out on the road and excited to see new opportunities for evangelism through music, with plans to:
- launch a Youth Orchestra & Choir
- develop music and worship resources
- expand Prom Praise for Schools
- grow our online presence and
- re-ignite Prom Praise on Location
As we continue to discern our next steps, we invite you to join us in prayer, that many more would be pointed to Jesus through the power of music.
