Founded in 1972 by the then newly-appointed Director of Music at All Souls Church, Langham Place, Noël Tredinnick, the All Souls Orchestra has gone on to develop an internationally-respected ministry.
The Orchestra’s wide reputation outside of All Souls Church has come mainly through the Prom Praise concerts which we take to major venues around the country, and recordings.
In All Souls Church the Orchestra plays approximately one service per month alternating between morning and evening. The music played is very varied, encompassing substantial and challenging symphonic works to lively arrangements of contemporary worship songs.
Over the thirty years of its existence the membership of the orchestra has extended widely and now includes members and non-members of All Souls, and has active student participation, all drawn by the desire to share their particular gifts and experience the joy of joining in this unique act of service.
If you share that desire and can play an orchestral instrument to a reasonable high level, do contact us.
