Spend 70 minutes in the company of Noël Tredinnick and friends to share this glimpse of Noël in reflective mood as he marks his 70th year and retirement as Director of Music at All Souls, Langham Place.
Filmed in March 2019, it is interesting to hear Noël’s insights, grown over a lifetime in music ministry, and his thoughts on Christian music – illustrated by pictures and behind-the-scenes material not previously seen.
Filmmaker John Forrest, who twice produced Prom Praise for BBC TV’s Songs of Praise programme, chats to Noël as well as to Michael Baughen and members of the All Souls Orchestra.

I was also pleased to put on record the background of Noël’s collaboration in Christian music with Michael Baughen. As their pioneering work began in the 1970s, bringing a guitar into church worship was widely seen as controversial. It is partly due to them that things have changed.’
