”As I Looked, thrones were set in place, and the Ancient of Days took his seat.”…”Thousands upon thousands attended him, ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him.” (Daniel 7:9-10)
Ancient of days is a song that draws upon the name God takes in the book of Daniel. We are called to worship the Lord because he is the ancient one who has existed beyond time. It is good to worship the Lord because he is higher than any other authority on Earth and in heaven. We should worship the Lord in reverence because as the Ancient of days, he is holy and we are not. He deserves our adoration and awe therefore we ought to join with all heaven and earth to praise him. Written by Gary Sadler and Jamie Harvill; and arranged by Gerard Brooks.
