The story of Jesus’ birth told through song, and set to calypso rhythms! 

This song, written by Michael Perry, teaches us the significance of the Son of God coming as a child. The ‘calypso carol’ reminds us of that the prince of glory came as a fragile baby in a lowly stable because of his willingness to be humbled for our sakes. Furthermore, this was also true of Jesus later in his life because he humbled himself ultimately to death on the cross to bear the penalty for the sins of any who believe in him.

The calypso carol has been arranged and orchestrated by Noël Tredinnick – conductor emeritus of the All Souls Orchestra. Enjoy this latin-inspired take on a well-know carol this Christmas!
