This song by Australian group CityAlight highlights the lordship and sovereignty of God over all creation – he is the ancient of days! The year 2020 has brought many trials and fears that have led us to rely all the more on the Lordship of Jesus over creation, therefore this song would be apt for churches to sing under the present circumstances. For Christians, our hope in the face of uncertainty and turmoil is sure because we await our Saviour Jesus to return in power and make all things new. Only his throne will remain, and all the glory will go to him.

This song was co-written by James Robinson, Rich Thompson, Michael Farren, and Jesse Reeves. It was arranged for orchestra by Simon Elphick for Prom Praise Sydney in 2018!
