Stories to raise faith
I went to an event once where testimonies were routinely shared at the start of a meeting. The cynic in me often tuned out, thinking, ‘We know the Lord is at work, these stories all sound fairly similar – can we get to the teaching and music please?’
Vision for the new season
In a recent staff team meeting, we reflected on the importance of Proverbs 29:18: “Where there is no vision, the people perish.” We are all too aware that, while we may make our own plans, it is the Lord who directs our steps (another wise proverb – 16:9).
